Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026. This policy explains what the X Viral Reply Assistant browser extension reads, sends, and stores.
What the extension reads
It reads the public post content already visible on the X pages you browse — author handle, text, and public engagement counts — to calculate a heat score and to draft replies. It does not read content from pages you are not viewing.
What it sends, and to whom
- Your AI provider: when you click generate, the current public post content and your prompt settings are sent to the AI service you configured, using your own API key.
- License service: to activate or verify Pro, the extension sends your license key, a randomly generated device id, and the extension version to our license proxy, which forwards them to Creem. No browsing data is sent here.
What it never collects
The extension does not read or transmit your X password, cookies, authentication tokens, direct messages, or any non-public content. It does not auto-post, auto-like, auto-follow, or message anyone.
What is stored, and where
Your settings, AI API key, and generation history are stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local) on your device. They are not uploaded to us. You can clear your API key, settings, and history at any time from the extension.
Third-party services
Two third parties may receive data as described above: the AI provider you choose, and Creem (our payment and license provider). Each handles data under its own privacy policy.
